Minor Differences - The Oatmeal
Minor Differences - The Oatmeal
I think I'm getting addicted to The Oatmeal o_0 These are so funny though! Two more editions to follow, once I've read them and laughed my arse off (not literally, The Oatmeal has taught me the difference...)
The Teenager Audio Test - Can you hear this sound? - The Oatmeal
The Teenager Audio Test - Can you hear this sound? - The Oatmeal
If you can't then you're lucky, it's bloody annoying! Clearly, though, what with me being under 25 I'm a huge danger to society and shops should play this all day long in case I try to rob them...
10 reasons to avoid talking on the phone - The Oatmeal
10 reasons to avoid talking on the phone - The Oatmeal
Working in a call centre, I tend to experience all of these at least once a day... most of the time it's very, very funny to the point where I have to mute my headset while I do a laugh snort without the customer's awareness. Other times, though, it makes me want to poke them in the eye, right in the eye, through the phone.

30 Day Song Challenge
I decided to do the 30 Day Song Challenge on Facebook at the beginning of this month, did it for a few days, then forgot about it for a week or so, then I caught up with it, then I forgot again and today I'm doing my final catch up so I thought I might as well share it on my blog
So keep your eyes and ears open...

I seem to have returned
I'm not sure where I've been for the last couple of years but I fear my absence (from the internet and from life in general) can be blamed only on me.
I do believe I'm back and with me I've brought much more enthusiasm, an optimistic outlook and some form of common sense which has recently really started to come in handy. I've quit drinking and haven't had a drink since mid January, mainly to save money and it's slightly unbelievable how effective it's been as my method of choice.
I reckon I'll be all right.
Also... IT'S FRIDAY!!

An interesting life - Daniel Suelo
I've just noticed this article, which was the subject of discussion on myLot about two years ago.
I've also started following his blog, Moneyless World - Free World - Priceless World.
It's a very interesting read! I'm not sure I'm a strong enough person to be able to live like that, I'd have to toughen up a lot if I ever wanted to.

Time for a long awaited rant
It really irritates me when someone does something that is made very obvious without them telling you what they're doing or why they're doing it - they want to make their point without having to tell you straight because they're cowards. Or fearless bastards.
Long story short, a close friend jumped to conclusions the other week and ended up blocking me on Facebook for something it turned out I didn't do.
I left it for a while then sent her a text asking her to unblock me and add me again as this was all very childish and a waste of time.
She did, so I sent her a message and posted on her wall, then when she didn't reply I thought I may as well leave it to her to get back in touch. Since then she's been prolific in posting statuses about how great a weekend she's had with all of our other friends yet she hasn't been back in touch with me.
Why do people have to be like this?
Why can't she just get me round to her house and tell me what she thinks, then I can cut my losses and realise I don't need people like that in my life, no matter how well I get on with them.
Waste of my life, that shite.

Well I Never...
As it happens, a laptop has now well and truly fallen into my lap, funnily enough at the same time I lost about £400 and PC World gained the same amount, strange...
